Our Office
All major Insurances are accepted in the office, including Workman’s Compensation and many leading Medicare-Advantage and Manage-Medicaid programs. Insurance verification, pre-certification and prior-authorization are ongoing requirements for providing Orthopaedic Healthcare in this present Health Care environment. We encourage our patient’s indulgence in this process to expedite their care.
During his initial appointment with his patients, Dr. Mackel, evaluates their medical history and the reason for the visit using physical examination, X-Ray, MRI imaging and other diagnostic testing. His first objective is to identify and educate for the patient these findings and discus with the patient the most effective and least invasive solution that will return his patients to a normal, healthy lifestyle. Treatment is tailored to each patient's individual needs, and often includes rest, medication, lifestyle modification and/or physical therapy.
If surgery is required, Dr. Mackel will discuss with patients all available options, as well as what can be expected with regard to recovery time and outcome of the surgery. Any and all questions are answer and discussed to ensure patient confidence and safety.
Our goal at Associates In Orthopaedics is to provide Advance Innovative Orthopaedic care with a high level of compassionate and professionalism
